Smokey Ribs

Smokey Ribs is located at Pantai Indah Kapuk, just a few minutes drive from Waterbom PIK. It is a western restaurant offering one of the best ribs in the area. I'm not a huge fan of ribs though, but I could say that the ribs here are very flavorful and worth to try. It offers two types of ribs- pork ribs and beef ribs. Pork rib has more fats and the texture is softer than beef ribs. And it has got more meats too. Other than ribs, a lot more western delicacies are available there.

Cream Soup

I love cream soup! And this one adds up to the list of my favorite cream soups.

Fried calamari rings

The portion of the calamari rings might not be the most generous in town, but that's what makes a good appetizer, right?

Potato skin

NICE! The bite-size potato skins are totally covered up with cheddar cheese and sprinkled with some dried bacon pieces. The sour cream kind of match up with the potato skin, but if you don't like sour cream it would give a really weird taste.

Beef ribs

The beef ribs is served with one choice of side dish plus coleslaw. The sauce comes in a few choices as usual- BBQ, mushroom, etc. I could tell that the beef ribs has been well marinated before it was being grilled. The flavor is so GREAT!

Tenderloin Steak

The tenderloin steak is juicy (well it depends on how it was cooked, and this one is medium) and lightly flavored to give out the real taste of the beef. Like the ribs, it was served with a choice of sauce and side dish along with cooked vegetables.

Fish and Chips with tar tar sauce

The fish is not really special, it was just like any other fish and chips you could find in any other restaurants. Not that it was not nice, it's really nice indeed. The crunch and the fish is well cooked inside. But if you are visiting Smokey Ribs, I would reccomend you to pick the grill fish.

Pink Panther

This beverage comes in a pitcher, so the taste wasn't that thick. It's soda with some strawberry syrup I think, but it really goes well with the foods.
